Mother’s Day During Lockdown
We are in Lockdown in Ontario or as they call it a Stay at Home Order but let’s face it it’s a lockdown and all non-essential items are off the table. But Mother’s Day is fast approaching and you want to give Mom a special gift to say I Love You Mom. What to do, what to do? Well pretty much all of the world has turned to shopping online and I’m no different than the rest of you. If you are reading this then you already know that have just opened my online store, sherrysonmain.ca . I’ve had my brick and mortar store open since 2002 and this pandemic has forced me into having an online presence other than just my Facebook page. Since my online store is new there is a learning curve for me so I have to do some tweaks and squiggles to get through all the gobbledygook so if you have any suggestions for me please feel free to contact me with your thoughts.
Anyway back to where I was originally going with this. Mother’s Day is Sunday May 9th and time is getting short to get a gift for her. I have a few of my favourite pieces that I’d like to show you.

This is our best selling saying among our kitchenware line. “If you’re happy and you know it it’s your MEDS”. Ain’t that the truth. These mugs are ceramic with a nice brushed matte feel and the handle shape is comfortable in your hand. The Tea Towel is 40 x 60 x 40 cm and made of 100% cotton When I my customers start to giggle I always know that this is what they are laughing at.
Hummingbird and Butterfly Wind Chimes
If Mom likes to spend some time in the backyard, and really, where else can we go right now, then maybe she’d like one of our wind chimes. There are 3 styles, Hummingbird, my favourite, closed wing Butterfly and open wing Butterfly.
Butterfly and Ladybug Welcome Trellis
How about a beautiful Butterfly or Ladybug Garden Trellis to pretty up the front yard. Covered in pretty flowering vines makes it even nicer.
Naughty Gnomes
If Mom has a great sense of humour then these little guys may be right up her ally. They have quite the attitude and will make her smile, giggle! Made of Polystone so they are able to live indoors or outdoors.

Now in all honesty since Mother’s Day is on Sunday May 9th, if you are having something shipped out of Ontario she may not receive it on time but I’m sure she will understand considering the circumstances. To help make things go a little quicker I can ship it directly to her all wrapped and ready. That will save some time and save you the extra shipping cost.
